Portopiccolo Beach Club
The beach club of a resort built at Sistiana on the Gulf of Trieste, sold to visitors by the station.
Portopiccolo Beach Club belongs to the Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana resort on the Gulf of Trieste, a few minutes from the city, with Duino Castle in view along the coast. The resort was the Falisia until 2023, when Minor Hotels signed to run it under its Tivoli name. The club is laid out in zones: a beach of white pebbles with piers, terraces above it by the beach bar, a sea-front pool for adults, and a green lawn for families. A harbour pool is kept for hotel guests. In 2024 the club opened its season in partnership with Purobeach, and the guide's 2025 edition knew it by that name.
The day is sold to visitors as a station of two sunbeds and an umbrella, with a towel each, and private cabins are let by the day. The operator's pages print no price and send bookings to an online system. A report of August 2026 put the sunbeds at thirty-five to ninety euro a person, by row and season, and the gazebos at one hundred and fifty to three hundred euro a day. The season ran from 30 May to 13 September 2026. The guide gave the club three gold umbrellas in 2025 and again in 2026.
Who it is not for
Portopiccolo Beach Club is wrong for anyone who wants sand: the beach is white pebbles. It is wrong for a visitor who hopes for the harbour pool, which is kept for hotel guests. And it is wrong for anyone who wants to know the price before booking, because the operator does not print one.
