Sirene Beach by Gaia
A large Aegean-style beach club on J1 Beach in Jumeirah, built around the Greek-Mediterranean restaurant GAIA, with three hundred sunbeds and online-only booking.
Sirene Beach by GAIA stands on J1 Beach, Jumeirah Road 1, in Dubai, on the redeveloped stretch formerly known as La Mer. It joins an Aegean-inspired beach club to GAIA, the Greek-Mediterranean restaurant, and is the work of Evgeny Kuzin and the chef Izu Ani, under Fundamental Hospitality. A 2025 review gave the site as more than 9,000 square metres and described it as the largest beach club in the world. The beachfront carries 300 sunbeds; there is a temperature-controlled pool, private cabanas, hidden bars and an indoor restaurant.
Pool and beach open daily from ten until sunset; the restaurant and indoor bar run late into the night. Every reservation — beach, pool, cabana, lounge or table — is made online only. The operator does not publish the price of a sunbed. A What's On round-up in August 2026 gave weekday entry at Dhs200 for the beach and from Dhs300 for the pool, usable against food and drink.
The restaurant is the anchor. The beach exists as an extension of GAIA's kitchen, with fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables; one review noted a fish sommelier on the staff.
Scale over seclusion. Three hundred sunbeds on a single frontage make this a large, busy beach by design, not a hidden cove.
Open through the summer. In August 2026 What's On listed Sirene among the Dubai beach clubs that stay open in the hottest months.
Who it is not for
Sirene is wrong for anyone who wants to turn up and arrange a bed on the spot, because reservations are taken only online. It is wrong for someone looking for a small or quiet beach: the frontage holds three hundred sunbeds. And it is wrong for a visitor who wants the sand after dark, since pool and beach close at sunset.
