Tagomago
A Balearic-styled restaurant with a private beach and an adults-only sea pool on the Palm Jumeirah shoreline.
Tagomago stands at 1E The Shoreline Street on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, on the Arabian Gulf; a Dubai listing places it at Azure Residences. It is a Spanish Mediterranean restaurant, bar, beach and pool, styled on the Balearic Islands, and is managed by Rikas Hospitality. The beach was closed for upgrades over the summer of 2023 and reopened in January 2024, together with a new swimming pool built into the sea.
The beach and the pool are open daily from ten until sunset, the restaurant from noon to one in the morning, and a chiringuito from two in the afternoon. The beach is sold as sunbeds, and the operator writes that its private beach welcomes friends, couples and families. Bookings go through the operator's online reservations, by telephone, e-mail and WhatsApp; the operator publishes no price on the pages read. A Dubai guide reported in August 2026 that it stays open all summer.
Two rules for two waters. The beach takes families with no age limit; the pool is reserved for guests of twenty-one and over.
A kitchen from the islands. Paella, the grilled catch of the day and Spanish beef lead the menu, and a paella night on set Thursdays brings singers and flamenco dancers.
Reached by sea as well. The venue offers free docking for boats.
Who it is not for
Tagomago is wrong for a family that wants the pool: it is for guests of twenty-one and over, and children are limited to the beach. It is wrong for anyone wanting a published price before booking, since the operator gives none on its pages. And it is wrong for a visitor wanting the beach into the evening, because the sand closes at sunset and the night belongs to the restaurant and the chiringuito.
