SĀN Beach
A day-to-night beach club and restaurant on Palm West Beach in Dubai, opened in 2022, with sunbeds, floating cabanas and an infinity pool with a swim-up bar.
SĀN Beach stands on Palm West Beach, on The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It opened in April 2022, taking its name and its design cue from the San people of Africa. It joins a white-sand beach, a large infinity pool with a submerged bar, and an indoor restaurant with an open kitchen.
It is open from nine in the morning to midnight from Sunday to Thursday, and until one in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays. The day is sold as sunbeds or private cabanas on the beach, or as premium places: floating cabanas, beach villas and poolside seating. Pool and beach are booked through their own reservation link, separate from the restaurant's, or by e-mail. The operator publishes no price; a press report gave pool and beach access in June 2026 at 200 dirhams, wholly redeemable on food and drink. A door policy applies, though its terms are not set out on the home page.
Dining first. The house calls itself a fine-dining kitchen and a beach club in one. The menu runs from salads and sushi to wagyu and seafood, and is served to the loungers as well as to the tables.
Seats on the water. Beyond beds and cabanas on the sand, floating cabanas and beach villas form a separate, premium tier.
Late hours. The kitchen takes orders until half past eleven on weekdays and half past midnight at weekends, with resident and guest DJs; by day there are fitness, yoga and pilates classes.
Who it is not for
SĀN Beach is wrong for anyone who wants a quiet shore: it runs with DJs late into the night. It is wrong for a visitor who wants to know the cost before arriving, since the operator publishes no price and the reported rate was a seasonal offer. And it is wrong for someone who prefers to walk in without terms, as a door policy applies whose conditions are not published on the home page.
