Fosforlu Beach & Restaurant

A beach club with its own pier on the Lara shore at Antalya, selling sunbeds, two-person beds and cabanas by the day and running on into the night.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · operator confirmation pending

Fosforlu Beach & Restaurant stands on the Lara shore at Antalya, at Güzeloba Mah., Gezi Yolu Cad. No:50 in the district of Muratpaşa. It is one of a row: a 2025 travel report counted at least a dozen beach clubs along Lara Beach, which runs for about a mile from the edge of the city east to where the all-inclusive hotels and their private beaches begin, and a local paper the same summer named six private operators on the Lara shore, Fosforlu among them. No founding date was found.

The day is sold by the place: a şezlong, a two-person bed or a loca, a cabana. Bookings go through WhatsApp, telephone or e-mail, and the operator strongly recommends reserving at weekends. The operator publishes no prices; in June 2025 the local press reported weekday sunbeds at 600 lira and two-person beds at 750, and weekend sunbeds at 800 and beds at 1,000. A visitor listing gives the hours as nine in the morning to midnight, every day; the operator speaks of a summer season with the programme at its height then.

A pier into the sea. The club has its own wide private pier, which the operator presents as the way straight into the sea.

Day into night. After the sunbeds come DJs, live music and themed parties on set weekdays, with a restaurant of seafood, meze and grills behind.

Priced in a public argument. The 2025 prices were reported in the middle of a row in Antalya over beach charges, after the entry fee at Mermerli was cut from 1,000 to 500 lira and the city's own beaches were charging 140; the private clubs on Lara were named as the dearer alternative.

Who it is not for

Fosforlu is wrong for anyone who wants a quiet evening by the water, because after dark the club turns to DJs, live music and parties. It is wrong for someone arriving unbooked on a summer weekend, when the operator itself says a reservation is needed to be sure of a place. And it is wrong for a traveller who wants a current published price before setting out: the operator lists none, and the only figures found date from 2025.
