RAVA Beach Club

Banyan Tree's beach club on Bang Tao, a hundred and fifty metres of frontage with three infinity pools, sold by sunbed, day bed, cabana and day pass.

RAVA Beach Club stands on Bang Tao Beach in Cherngtalay, in the Thalang district in the north of Phuket, facing the Andaman Sea. It sits within the Laguna Phuket complex, in front of the resort hotels, about twenty minutes from the airport. It is run by Banyan Tree Phuket, and Banyan Tree presents it as the longest beach club in Thailand: a hundred and fifty metres of shoreline and some 3,500 square metres, with three infinity pools along the front. Its launch was announced in October 2025.

The day is open to outside visitors as well as hotel guests. The operator offers sunbeds, day beds, cabanas and five VIP rooms for up to ten guests each, and day passes that carry their value back as credit for food and drink. Bookings go through the club's own booking site, by telephone and by e-mail. A Sunday brunch runs from noon to three, with a happy hour each evening from six to seven.

Three zones, one of them closed. The open area with pools, sunbeds and beachfront dining is shared by day visitors; a grill restaurant cooks over flame and charcoal; and a Prestige lounge with its own pool is kept apart for privileged members.

Cooked over fire. The kitchen is built around an open grill, with charcoal-roasted seafood, large cuts and wood-fired pizza for sharing.

Music without the pool party. DJs play from late morning, but reviewers found it calm and uncrowded by day rather than loud.

Who it is not for

RAVA is wrong for anyone who wants a small, private stretch of sand: Bang Tao carries several other beach clubs and the open zone alone seats about 180. It is wrong for a day visitor expecting the whole site, since the Prestige lounge is closed to them. And it is wrong for someone after a loud pool party in daylight; the music is kept low until evening.
