The club that sets its shore: on Lipa Noi, on Koh Samui's quiet west coast, the one beach club among resort fronts.
Nikki Beach Koh Samui stands on Lipa Noi, on the west coast of the island, facing the Gulf of Thailand and the sunset. Lipa Noi is lined with resort frontages and small restaurants rather than a strip of clubs; a beach guide describes it as one headline beach club and quiet resort fronts around it. The club is that headline. It opened as the first phase of a Nikki Beach resort: the beach club and pool bar were announced for December 2008, with villas and a hotel to follow.
The day is sold to outsiders as well as to guests of the resort. Daybeds by the sand carry a minimum spend for non-guests, and the beach club keeps day hours, from late morning to early evening. The operator publishes no price. An independent account in July 2026 put the weekend minimum spend on the prime beach-club sunbeds at 2,500 Thai baht. Bookings go through the operator's reservation system, by e-mail and by phone.
Who it is not for
Nikki Beach Koh Samui is wrong for anyone who wants a crowd of clubs to move between: Lipa Noi has one, and the rest of the bay is resort frontage. It is wrong for a visitor on a weekend budget who expected the sunbeds to come free with lunch: at weekends they carry a minimum spend. And it is wrong for anyone who wants the evening on the sand, because the beach club keeps day hours.
