Neptune Monaco

Neptune Monaco stands on Plage du Larvotto, on avenue Princesse Grace, in the Larvotto district of Monaco. Larvotto is the principality's main beach, largely public and open all year round, with a promenade of about three hundred metres; the whole front was rebuilt in 2021. Four private beach clubs work along it: La Rose des Vents, Le Neptune, La Note Bleue and Miami Plage. Neptune is one of them, on a beach that everyone else may use for free.

The operator's site names no company or owner. It presents a private beach with transats, a restaurant and a cocktail bar over the Mediterranean, and says it is open every day of the week and all year. The day is sold as a transat with a parasol, priced by row: the front row costs most and the price falls row by row further back, with rates set month by month. Sunbeds and tables are booked by telephone or e-mail; events and groups go through a separate line.

The front row is the product. The price depends on how close the bed is to the water, which makes the choice of row, not of package, the main decision of the day.

A lunch and a dinner house. The kitchen works a Mediterranean menu from fresh, seasonal produce, with raw fish and salads at lunch and a fuller dinner service; the site shows no menu prices.

The quieter of the four. A local guide to Larvotto describes Neptune as the calmer, more family-minded of the private beaches, with well-spaced loungers and less of a party.
