Ciro's Cannes

Ciro's Cannes is the private beach of Le Majestic, the Barrière group's hotel on the boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes. It lies on the sand in front of the hotel and runs out over the water on a jetty. The same operation was earlier known as Plage Barrière Le Majestic; the operator now presents it under the name Ciro's Cannes, in a spirit it describes as a yacht club's.

The day is sold by the sunbed, and sunbeds can be booked online from the operator's page without a hotel stay being stated as a condition. The loungers are teak, set out both on the jetty and on the sand, with lounge areas between. The beach is open every day from ten to six; the restaurant, also called Ciro's Cannes, serves a sea-led menu daily from noon until half past ten at night. The operator publishes no sunbed price. Bookings and questions go to the beach by telephone or e-mail.

Dinner after the beach. The beach closes at six, but the restaurant runs on into the evening until half past ten, so a day on the jetty can end at the table.
