Vega la Plage

Vega la Plage stands on the sand of the Croisette in Cannes, at lot C13 of the boulevard, opposite the Hôtel Carlton and about five minutes on foot from the Palais des Festivals, with a view across the bay to the Lérins islands. It is a private beach on the boulevard. The operation formerly traded as Vegaluna, a name still visible in its own links; the company behind the site is SOLEA, at 13 boulevard de la Croisette, with Benoit Gabrielli named as responsible.

The day is sold as the rental of a transat or a bed on the private beach, in sun or shade, and the operator invites guests to reserve their day ahead. No price is published on its pages, and the pages read give neither opening hours nor season dates. The restaurant serves Mediterranean cooking built on seasonal produce under three chefs, Christophe Millot, Tom Brunaux and Gregory Martin, with cocktails and wine served on the beach. Reservations and events are handled by phone and e-mail.

Built for events as much as the day. The operator gives as much room to private hire as to the beach: galas, company events, weddings and beach parties, with the restaurant available for exclusive use.
