Kahlua Jungleroom

Kahlua Jungleroom stands on Agios Prokopios, on the south-west coast of Naxos, some ten to fifteen minutes south of Chora, the island's main town. The southern end of the beach carries a run of beach bars with sunbeds, food and cocktails, while the north-western end is mostly public and quieter. Kahlua calls itself the original beach bar of Naxos and dates itself to 1992. The operator names no owner, and some listings give the name as Kahlua Beach Cafe.

By day the offer is a beach bed by the sea, with drinks and light food brought from the bar. The operator publishes no price for the beds and gives no hours or season; its site carries no text for the 2026 season. The bar is laid out as a Jungle Lounge and a Beach Lounge. Enquiries about the beach bar, private events and parties go to a telephone line, an e-mail address and a contact form.

Three decades on one beach. The operator traces its run on Agios Prokopios back to 1992, and a travel guide calls it its favourite of the bars on the strip.

Day into night. By day the bar is for sun and swimming; by night it holds weekly events with guest DJs, beach parties with bottle service, and private celebrations.

A light menu. The food is burgers, salads, burritos, smoothies and fruit salad, with a signature tiki cocktail, under a design the guide calls boho-Mediterranean.

Who it is not for

Kahlua is wrong for anyone who wants a quiet night: weekly parties and guest DJs fill the evenings. It is wrong for a traveller who plans by a published price, opening hours or season, since the operator gives none of them. For sand without the scene, the north-western end of the same beach is mostly public and quieter.
