Scorpios Bodrum
The first Scorpios outside Greece, on a clifftop peninsula at Gölköy, with rooms as well as a day, and a 2026 season that stopped in early July.
Scorpios Bodrum stands at Gölköy on the Bodrum peninsula in Türkiye, above the Aegean. It occupies a clifftop peninsula of about seventy-five thousand square metres, partly surrounded by water, within the grounds of the Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort at Türkbükü. An independent guide places it between Gölköy and Cennet Koyu. The house is run by Scorpios, which opened its first venue on Mykonos in 2015; Bodrum, opened in 2024, was its first venue beyond Greece.
The day is built around sun loungers and private cabanas, a beach house and a restaurant, a terrace used for music, a sunset lounge with a bar, and a space for wellness treatments. Booking runs through the operator's own reservation system. The operator publishes no price; an independent guide put entry in June 2026 at about eighty euros, with cabanas and events priced separately, and advised booking in advance. The 2026 season opened in late May.
A stay as well as a day. Bodrum was the first Scorpios with rooms: twelve stone bungalows set in a circle, each with a terrace and its own pool facing the sea. The day guest shares the grounds with people sleeping there.
Cliff before sand. The sources read describe a clifftop with the beach house and restaurant below it. None of them describes a sand beach, and the shore itself remains to be confirmed.
A season interrupted. In early July 2026 the operation stopped mid-season. In a second statement the company blamed the conduct of the Maxx Royal resort, citing the removal of the guest entrance and parking, restricted access for ambulances and deliveries, and music hours cut from one in the morning to midnight, and said it hoped the stop would not become permanent. When read on 2 October 2026, the operator's Bodrum page still described the venue as temporarily closed.
Who it is not for
Scorpios Bodrum is wrong for anyone who books a trip around it without checking first: in October 2026 the operator's own page still described it as temporarily closed, and no reopening date was read. It is wrong for someone who wants a plain swim from the sand, because the sources describe a cliff with the beach house below, not a beach. And it is wrong for a guest on a budget, since the only price read puts entry at about eighty euros before any cabana.
