EDITION Bodrum Beach

The beach of a hotel at Yalıkavak on the Bodrum peninsula, open to day-use guests from late morning and running into the night as a bar.

The club trades as Beach Club at The Bodrum EDITION and stands at Yalıkavak, near Bodrum in Türkiye, on a white sand beach facing the Aegean, with the hotel's infinity pool behind it. It belongs to the hotel and is run by it.

Hotel guests have the beach from ten in the morning to six in the evening; day-use guests are admitted from half past eleven until six. The day is sold as reserved beach beds at the water's edge and as VIP cabanas beside the infinity pool. The hotel publishes no price and no season on the page; bookings go through the hotel by telephone on +90 252 311 3131. After the beach closes, the beach bar serves drinks until midnight and dinner from six.

Day use on stated hours. The hotel sets out separate hours for its own guests and for outsiders, so a day visitor knows plainly that the beach is open to them, and from when.

From beach to dinner. The same place turns from a day on the sand into an evening bar and restaurant, with weekly beach parties that bring in visiting DJs.

Two ways to lie down. A bed at the water's edge and a cabana on the pool are sold as distinct places, so the choice is between the sea and the pool rather than between price bands.

Who it is not for

The Beach Club at The Bodrum EDITION is wrong for an early riser who is not staying at the hotel: day-use guests come in at half past eleven, ninety minutes after hotel guests. It is wrong for anyone who wants the cost before calling, since no price is published by the hotel. And it is wrong for a visitor who wants a quiet evening by the water, because the beach turns to bar, dinner and weekly parties after dark.
