Nikki Beach Dubai

Nikki Beach Dubai stands on Pearl Jumeira, a man-made island in Dubai a short distance from DIFC and the J1 area, on the shore of the Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai, a hotel of the same group with rooms, suites, villas, a spa, other restaurants and a lounge. The club opened in 2016 and is part of Nikki Beach, the group founded in 1998 by Jack and Lucia Penrod as a tribute to their daughter Nicole. The kitchen is under the executive chef Kavish Chimajee and the group's corporate executive chef Alessandro Pizza.

The club opens from Tuesday to Sunday, from eleven in the morning to seven in the evening, and is closed on Mondays. The day is spent on sun loungers with umbrellas on the beach, on daybeds, on raised beds beside the pool or in cabanas, some at the pool with plunge pools of their own, and there is a swim-up bar. Bookings go through the operator's reservation system, by telephone or by e-mail, and a valid credit card is asked for at check-in. The operator publishes no price; an independent travel blog gave entry in June 2024 at 200 or 300 dirhams and the Opium bed at 1,000 or 2,000, figures of that year. A pool or beach booking cancelled forty-eight hours ahead is refunded; a later one becomes a credit for thirty days.

Twenty-one for the pool. Guests under twenty-one may not drink, use the pool or go to the bars. Families are welcome in the restaurant and on the beach with supervised children, and reservations are made only by guests of eighteen and over.

A weekly programme. Tuesday is a ladies' day, Wednesday a resident music night, and Saturday and Sunday each have a brunch from noon to five, with resident and guest DJs and live musicians through the week.

Local terms at the table. The dress code is beach chic and elegant, without sportswear; the hijab and traditional dress are welcome in the restaurant only.
