Baba Beach

Baba Beach stands at Via F.M. Giancardi 44 in Alassio, on the Ligurian shore towards Albenga, as a concession on the public beach. It joins a restaurant and bar to rows of umbrellas, daybeds and terraces, and it is organised first of all for people who come with a dog. The 2026 season is over: the operator announces its reopening in May 2027. In season it is open daily from half past nine to seven.

The day is sold to anyone through the operator's online booking, by the umbrella or by the terrace. The simplest place, two standard loungers under an umbrella in the relax area, starts from 39.99 euros; a front-row umbrella with king-size loungers and a sea daybed for two each start from 69.99; a private terrace for up to six, with its own dog area, starts from 210.99. Hot showers and changing cabins come with every place.

Dogs as guests, not tolerated. Dogs of any size are admitted, with the management reserving the right to place large breeds. They may swim freely, stay leashed under the umbrella, run supervised at the water's edge and come to the bar and restaurant on a lead. Registration, vaccination records and a lead of no more than a metre and a half are required, and bitches in heat are not admitted.

Adults-only rows. The sea daybeds and the front-row umbrellas are reserved for adults, so families take the rows behind.

Recognised for it. The club lists a 2025 award as Italy's best dog-friendly beach club among its distinctions.
