Bagno Piemonte
A bathing establishment in the centre of Forte dei Marmi that publishes its daily rates for umbrella, tent and cabin, with a fish restaurant on the sand.
Bagno Piemonte stands at via Arenile 4, in the centre of Forte dei Marmi, on the Versilia coast of Tuscany facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is a stabilimento balneare, and alongside the beach it runs a restaurant specialising in fresh fish, a bar and a car park. The operator's pages give no founding date or family history.
The day is sold openly at published rates, by umbrella, by tent, or either with a cabin. On the rates posted on the operator's site, which are still labelled 2025, an umbrella cost 60 euro a day in April, May and October and a tent with cabin 140 euro a day in July and August. Monthly and whole-season rates are also published, the season running from late April to the end of September, and a towel-cleaning charge is obligatory. Seasonal bookings require a deposit. Reservations go by phone and e-mail.
The price on the door. Unlike many houses on the same coast, the operator lists every day rate by month and by product, so the cost of a day is known before arrival.
Built around the season-holder. The rate card runs from the single day to the whole summer, with extra loungers sold for the season, a card written as much for the whole summer as for the single day.
Who it is not for
Bagno Piemonte is wrong for anyone who wants a bed in July or August at the spring price: the daily rate rises by half or more in high summer. It is wrong for a visitor outside the season, with nothing to rent between October and April. And it is wrong for anyone relying on this year's figures: the published rates are labelled 2025.
