Nammos
The club on Psarou beach, opened in the early 2000s where a family taverna had stood since the 1960s.
Nammos stands on Psarou, a bay of fine sand on Mykonos, under umbrellas striped white and turquoise. A family taverna opened here in the mid-1960s; it was sold and renamed Nammos in 2002, and the operator dates its restaurant to 2003. Guests arrive by road, with a short walk from the bus at Platys Gialos, or from the sea, by a floating deck and a private dock for yachts; there is a helipad. In June 2023 more than two hundred square metres of illegal construction on the western side of the complex were demolished, the complex having grown to more than three times its original 1980s structure.
The day is sold as sunbeds by the row and as four day-use cabanas, Nero, Marrone, Azzuro and Aqua Marina, each with a private hot tub and a butler. The operator publishes no price. In May 2026 the back row was reported from seventy euro a person and the front row from one hundred and ten, with a food and drink minimum of about one hundred; in 2023 the front row was reported at three hundred euro in high season and up to a thousand as a minimum spend. Since 2022 the Abu Dhabi investor Alpha Dhabi has held a stake in the group, which opened a hotel on Mykonos in 2024.
Who it is not for
Nammos is wrong for anyone on a budget: the reported back row starts at seventy euro a person before the food minimum. It is wrong for a visitor who wants the price in advance, because the operator does not print it. And it is wrong for anyone looking for the old taverna; the site has become a complex, and part of it has been taken down.
