Catch Beach Club

The Twinpalms beach club at the north end of Bang Tao, open from breakfast to midnight, with a day pass sold against a spend on food and drink.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · operator confirmation pending

Catch Beach Club stands at the northern end of Bang Tao, the eight-kilometre beach on the west coast of Phuket, at Choeng Thale in the district of Thalang. It belongs to the Twinpalms family and shares that end of the beach with Twinpalms Treehouse, Twinpalms Tented Camp and The Lazy Coconut. A Phuket guide describes it as the first beach club on the island, opened where the Bliss Beach Club had been.

The club opens daily from half past seven in the morning to midnight, later on Fridays and Saturdays. The day is sold as a day pass from eleven to six, on oversized loungers on the sand, by the oceanfront infinity pool, in pool salas, cabanas and sea-view day beds. The operator publishes no price; an independent guide reports a minimum spend that returns in full as credit for food and drink, and gives a telephone and the club's own site for booking. Guests of the group's hotels who book direct are offered half off the loungers.

Breakfast to the late evening. Breakfast is served from half past seven, lunch and dinner until half past ten at night, a barbecue on Friday nights and a brunch at Sunday noon.

On a shore under review. Since April 2026 the Phuket authorities have been clearing commercial use from the Bang Tao sand, which is state land. In October 2026 a Phuket guide reported Catch still open as normal, and the operator still sells its loungers on the sand.

Who it is not for

Catch Beach Club is wrong for anyone who wants quiet: an independent guide calls it very busy, with weekends packed. It is wrong for a couple on a small budget, because the day is sold against a minimum spend rather than a fixed fee. And it is wrong for someone who arrives late on a weekend in high season without a booking, since the beds go early.
