Blue Marlin Ibiza

Blue Marlin stands on Cala Jondal in the south-west of Ibiza, in the municipality of Sant Josep. The beach is almost all round pebbles, the local códols, with a seabed of fine sand a few metres out, and yachts and sailboats anchor in the cove. Jelle Oomes opened the club in 2004; by 2016 its staff had grown from forty or fifty to about four hundred in high season. Guests arrive by car or by boat, and a dinghy runs to the yachts on reservation.

The operator prints its terms for 2026. A single lounger costs thirty euro to hire, with a minimum spend of seventy euro a person on the beach menu, paid in advance. A big bed for four costs one hundred euro with a minimum of five hundred, secured by a deposit of six hundred euro that is taken off the final bill; bed guests must arrive between eleven and three. The 2026 season runs from 25 April to 4 October. The beach is served from eleven to eight, and after eleven at night the music moves indoors.
