Nikki Beach Ibiza

A pool-and-beach club in the grounds of the ME Ibiza hotel at S'Argamassa, renovated in 2024, where the single lounger is bought at the gate.

Nikki Beach Ibiza stands on Avenida S'Argamassa, on the east coast of Ibiza outside Santa Eulària des Riu, in the grounds of the ME Ibiza hotel and close to the beach of s'Argamassa. It belongs to Nikki Beach, the group founded in 1998 by Jack and Lucia Penrod as a tribute to their daughter Nicole. The club has more than a decade on the island and was completely renovated in 2024. It has an open-air restaurant under the executive chef Thierry Zaragoza, a pool area, cabanas, loungers facing the sea and a dance floor, and it takes weddings and private events.

The club opens daily through the summer, and its 2026 season was set to end with a closing party on 10 and 11 October. Beds and cabanas are booked through the operator's reservation system, by telephone or by e-mail. The single lounger is sold differently: a representative of the operator, answering on a review site, wrote that in July and August loungers cost 35 euros each and are sold on the spot only, without a booking. The operator's booking system names them pool loungers; the beach is sold separately, as a beach bed. The operator states that entrance is not guaranteed, with or without a reservation.

Adults at the pool, families on the sand. The pool area, the loungers and the VIP cabanas are for adults only, and no one under eighteen may enter the swimming pool. Families with children are welcome in the restaurant and on the beach, provided minors are with a parent or guardian at all times. At special events an eighteen-and-over policy may apply.

A lounger without planning. Because the single lounger in high summer is sold at the gate rather than reserved, the simplest way into the day, at the pool rather than on the sand, needs no advance booking.

A dress code that is applied. Beach chic is required. Sportswear, hen and stag props, offensive prints, glitter and body paint are refused, and at the tables men need shoes and sleeved shirts; no one dines in swimwear.

Who it is not for

Nikki Beach Ibiza is wrong for a family that wants to swim together: no one under eighteen may enter the pool, and the loungers and cabanas are for adults. It is wrong for a hen or stag party, whose props are refused at the door, and for anyone in sportswear. It is wrong for a traveller arriving after mid-October, when the season has closed, and for someone who needs a guaranteed place, since the operator does not promise entry even with a booking.
