Nikki Beach Saint-Tropez

The European flagship of the Nikki Beach brand, on Pampelonne since 2002, rebuilt in 2024 and open from noon to eight through the summer.

Nikki Beach Saint-Tropez stands at 1093 Route de l'Épi in Ramatuelle, on Pampelonne, the long bay that carries the name of Saint-Tropez but lies in the neighbouring commune. It opened in 2002. The operator calls it its European flagship, and in 2024 rebuilt it completely, with a new layout. It holds a concession on the public shore, and its structure is demountable. Besides the restaurant and bars it keeps a private swimming pool, boutiques, massages, boat shuttles and a car service, and it takes private events of up to five hundred guests.

The operator names plush daybeds and a bed area for guests of twenty-one and over; the Ramatuelle tourist office lists mattress rental on the sand. The operator publishes no price; an independent guide gives a range for lounge chairs. Reservations are made through the operator's online booking system, by e-mail, by telephone or by WhatsApp, and they are strongly recommended, though the operator states that entry is not guaranteed with or without one. In 2026 the season ran from 24 April to 13 September, daily from noon to eight in the evening. The operator's page now says the club is closed for the season and will reopen next summer.

Twenty-one and over on the beds. The bed area is strictly for guests of twenty-one and over, with a physical, valid identity document. Children are welcome in the restaurant under a parent's supervision, but not on the beds.

A door as well as a desk. Entry is at the management's discretion. The dress code is beach chic resort wear; topless sunbathing, athletic wear, hoods, glitter and body paint are refused, and men wear sleeved shirts and shoes in the dining areas.

Lunch that turns into a party. DJs play through the day, and as the evening comes the afternoon becomes the party the brand is known for, with themed events through the summer.

Who it is not for

Nikki Beach Saint-Tropez is wrong for a family that wants the beds: the bed area is twenty-one and over. It is wrong for anyone who wants to sunbathe topless or simply to turn up, since the door is selective and a booking does not guarantee entry. It is wrong for anyone travelling between mid-September and late April, when the club is closed. And it is wrong for a guest who wants a quiet afternoon, because the music is part of the product.
