Sailing Club Nha Trang stands at 72–74 Trần Phú, in the Lộc Thọ ward of Nha Trang, on the city beach facing Nha Trang Bay in Vietnam. It describes itself as a beachfront fixture of three decades' standing, and it is one of several restaurants and resorts in Vietnam under the Sailing Club name.

It is open every day from seven in the morning to two the next morning. By day the offer on the sand is sunbeds and bean bags, with a beach bar for cocktails, beer and snacks behind them, and a restaurant whose menus run from breakfast through Vietnamese, Indian and Western dishes. The club publishes no price for a sunbed; reservations are taken by telephone on +84 85 830 6679 and by e-mail, with nothing on the site restricting who may book.

One place, two shifts. The same address is a beach day from early morning and a bar with dancing and parties late into the night, which is why it keeps nineteen hours a day.

Who it is not for

Sailing Club Nha Trang is wrong for anyone who wants a quiet night near the beach: it runs as a bar and party venue until two in the morning. It is wrong for a visitor who wants a secluded shore, because this is the beach of a city, on its seafront. And it is wrong for someone who wants a fixed published price for a sunbed, since none is given.
